Well people are different and go about things in different ways. Some people need to be the center of attention perhaps because otherwise they feel insecure or worthless or inconsequential. Many of us were brought up to be more low-key and not to seek the limelight. Which does not mean we don't enjoy being the center of attention when it does happen.
