That would be up to you since that is your category.  I have answered similar questions of yours many times over the years.  You speak of the wealthy as though they are some weird monsters from outer space or something.   Most wealthy people I know are just like you and me except they  devote more time and energies to their work. They just work and live and invest and eventually find they are very comfortable. With wealth does come some privileges as would be true about anything that people admire.  This post was edited by officegirl at August 14, 2018 8:17 AM MDT

  • I think we have to be careful here. There are those who became wealthy by committing crimes. Al Capone comes to mind. Then there are those who created wealth by being an entrepeneur or innovator. While there's nothing illegal with that, they're not beyond unethical behavior to keep it all afloat. The early 20th Century captains of industry come to mind there. Even some of them were capable of humanitarian outreach. Then there are some who are actually good managers of wealth. I've known a few in the food service industry. So, there's a difference in managing wealth and being managed by it. I know this, poverty doesn't mean sainthood for anybody. Ask anyone sitting in jail who used poverty as an excuse for being there.

Did you mean to say the poorer you are the crookeder you are? Mostly?
