When we lose a National Treasure we should pause and reflect and feel gratitude that once upon a time it was ours. Do you?

When Will Rogers died the country went into mourning for the loss.  Everyone loved  Will and Will loved everyone. I'm not sure if everyone loved Arentha but for those who did, it is a very sad day. Condolences to all her fans. We shall never see her likes again. We haven't seen another Will have we? I rest my case.

She was pretty special that's for sure... a true star and talent such as we rarely see. I liked her song with George Micheal.. both sadly no longer with us.

Of course yesterday there was wall-to-wall Aretha singing at different times in her life. I can only imagine her joy singing for President Obama. A black woman revered and very successful singing for a black man who was the President of the United  States. Obama was emotional too. How far we'd come. All of us. You didn't need to be black to cry/tear up. Now we cry/tear up for very different reason. Obama would be a hard act to follow for anyone TGITWH doesn't have the right stuff to be on stage let on perform. SIGH. Thank you for your reply Addb.
