In America we have BIG BOX stores (Costco for example) where you can buy things in bulk at cheaper prices. Do other countries have them too?

They are a no-frills experience and literally a BIG BOX or barn where you go up and down the aisles. They sell all kinds of things from a variety of foods to electronics to furniture to bedding to clothing to books. It is an adventure and an experience. We regularly buy things like bleach or trash bags or walnuts which come in 3-lb bags and are less expensive than what you buy at the market. They are always demonstrating different foods they want to sell and around holidays they demo many different items.

Well Nice Jugs who is a Brit told me she and her family are Costco Members! That tickles me. That means across a continent and across an ocean since I live in California she and her family are probably looking at the same items we are  looing at here!  I know that location matters a lot so in other countries Costco would  also carry things unique to them as they would carry things unique to Americans. But there would likely definitely be some of the same things as well. Thank you for your reply bh! :)
