    Favourite? I don't think I've a favourite - I like 'em all!

    Not so keen on sycamores in the wrong place - they an alien species here and tend to seed themselves where you don't want a tree.

    Nor conifer plantations covering wide areas of countryside, but that's an artificial forest not a natural one. At least they are crops, so the timber they provide is not from felling a wild forest.
