For whom would you stand in line in bad weather for hours to pay your respects? Why?

Another day of celebrating the life of John McCain. Also this day in Detroit Aretha Franklin is being celebrated. The organizers did a very classy thing. 1000 tickets were set aside for the public so they could attend her funeral inside the church. Folks waited in lines for hours to get in and pay their respects. SIGH. May she RIP although I think she's gonna be way too busy singing up there with the heavenly choir.

    Nobody.
I'm not into the whole celebrity/politician worship thing.
I barely take time to attend family funerals.
I got other things to do, more important than looking at a dead body.

Excluding family members I’d give my life for, there is no one who’d merit that level of voluntary homage from me.

No celeberites. I only attends funerals of close family members and close friends. I don’t worship celebrities. In fact, I despise them mostly.

You're not the only one who despises celebrities Rizz. I don't but a lot of folks do. I'm not sure why. Thank you for your reply and Happy Saturday! :)
