Every state gets two United States Senators regardless of its population. Whether 15 or 15 million. Ya like ya no like? Why?

    Two senators is sufficient.  The House is representative of the population of that state.

    I think the Senate should be as well L. The duties of Senators are different from the duties of those in the House. The Senate engages to ADVISE and CONSENT.  It is the job of the Senate to confirm or deny confirmation of judges for example.  The House holds the purse strings and in the olden days used to create bills that would serve the people. Then the bills would go to the Senate for review. The Senate might come up with its own version and then there would be a reconciliation between the two and then votes were taken. I think representation of the population in both the Senate and the House makes sense. Thank you for your reply.
