This nation used to be a lot of things that it doesn't present to the world anymore. You are free to do anything you please. Oh, you can disapprove, disavow, disrespect, disdain or disown EVERYTHING if that's your desire. In doing so, what kind of life have you made for yourself? All I can say is that there are millions of people in the nation who have grown weary of people trying to save those of us who care about the country from ourselves. You want the right to drop to your knee, fine. I retain the right to criticize your decision to do so, mainly because I won't have some professional athletes who have never sacrificed anything or contributed anything worthwhile to national security, lecture me on the price of liberty. On one side of the ledger, people have shed blood, sweat and tears to insure the continuation of the American experiment and spirit. On the other side, I really don't see where NFL players have lost much. If looking ridiculous is their thing, then have at it. I don't have to buy their tickets, their products, watch their games or support their sponsors. That my friend is liberty and I love it.
What surprises me.. is how people cannot see the incongruity of saying freedom is everything, especially freedom of speech... and beliving that.. while the Prez, bleats on an on about how people shouldn't be able to write nasty truthful books about him.. and the news shouldn't be allowed to print nasty things about him.. and google etc shouldn't be allowed to have pages that criticise him.. Seem's mighty UN-freedom of speech to me. .but his supporters seem not to see or care?
They support defend cheer everything he wants says does without exception Addb. You ask how is that possible? I have no idea. I think their brains are just wired differently so they are able to accept whatever he dishes out as being TRUE. They think he is the only source of truth they have and so they think what he tells them to think and they believe what he wants them to believe and they are all very happy with one another and very angry and irate at those who don't do the same. Go figger! It is a puzzlement but life is full of 'em! Thank you for your reply. I think our brains..thine and mine...are similarly wired. It's kinda nice to find folks who understand where you're coming from and don't smack the crap outta ya for it! Thank you for your reply! :)
