It controlled what ailments/illnesses you could seek treatment for where you went for medical care and what you did for entertainment. It controlled the books,newspapers,magazines that could be published. There would be a government department in charge of that...the Censorship Cognoscenti. No printing company could publish anything that didn't have the Censorship Cognoscenti Department Seal of Approval. It would control where, when and if you were allowed to travel anywhere other than to work/school/home. You would have to get vouchers to go shopping for anything at anytime for any reason. You would have to state where you planned to shop, what you planned to buy and if they were NOT on the gubment-approved list you would not get the authorization to shop. There would be nothing available to you that was not pre-approved by the gubment .
