How often have you entered an apartment or home not your own thinking it was? How could you NOT KNOW you were in the wrong place?

I have never lived in an apartment building like that. I have seen apartment buildings where they all looked the same in the hallway. 
I have tried to go into the wrong hotel room before. 
I have gotten in the wrong car before....
