    If I needed to see one (fortunately never have), she will have had thorough training in the health and pathologies of the sexual organs.

    If a doctor shared that kind of personal information with her patients, I would not consider her very professional. So, no.

  • She needn't share that information; you might know about beforehand. 

    My mother's gynaecologist was never married, and one could safely assume (though not with absolute certainty) that in that generation an unmarried woman was also a virgin. In those days, most middle class women had their first sexual experience only after marriage.

    1. How would I know if any female gynecologists are virgins, in the first place?
    2. Male gynecologists don't even have a vagina!
    3. Neither of those two bother me. Doctors are doctors. Bedside manner is what counts, and skills.
