Why do teens smoke e-cigarettes? To look way cool? They have nicotine in them so wouldn't that lead them to smoke the real thing?

Those who smoke at any age never look cool. Why would anyone think otherwise? I thought kids were supposed to be smarter than their parents. Apparently those who e-cigarette aren't. There goes another old wive's tale shot to he**! :(
