I am sensitive to any kind of criticism. My wife said something nine years ago that devastated me. I have not forgotten it. However, if I know it is BS from someone who doesn't know what he is talking about (my brother-in-law), I just give a wry smile.

I don't suppose you care to share what she said do you Ele? Well I shall share with you the only criticism that changed my life and not for the happier or betterer. It was "I don't like how you treat people". Now on the face of it I guess it isn't so bad. But it was devastating in the repercussions and consequences that flowed from it. It happened in May 2010 on the 9th. Some things that appear inconsequential really aren't. I'm sorry you still hurt but I know exactly what you mean and just as we can't put toothpaste back in the tube we can't unknow what we know or unhear what we heard. Thank you for your reply Ele! :)
