If a devoutly religious Christian wife were to become president it would be her husband who was the actual decider, right?
Would she give up her Christianly duty of obeying her husband just to run a country and be self-determined? How could she be a "good" Christian then if she went against the teachings of the Bible? A dilemma.
In a Christian household, the husband is supposed to be fhe families spiritual leader. It does not say the wife cannot act on her own in support of her family.
Proverbs 31 explains all of the power a woman has showing het buying a vineyard of HER own and making and selling things of her own. While takimg care of her family as well.
I think the exact opposite tom. Any wife of any guy who bible-thumps regularly would never DARE admit to taking birth control meds for example and we know they do. Maybe not ALL of them but most of them undoubtedly do otherwise they'd have dozens of kids and they don't. They would be verbally "compliant" while they hid the pills somewhere. Similarly they would pay lip service to hubby dearest and let him think they vote the way he expects them to but in the voting booth? Maybe not. Women can be duplicitous m'dear. They can pretend many things to appease the men in their lives who have the control over them. It is how they survive. So they lie and sneak around as best they can not ever daring to speak up and against what hubby dearest insists is right. SIGH. Thank you for your reply.
