Logic can be, and is, used to lord it over others and persuade or force them do to someone else's will.

Reason is not our natural state, emotion and presumption are.
Logic must be taught and reason cultivated.

I routinely find those who most despise logic and reason are those least capable of either one.

I would guess that FEAR is the first emotion we experience. With regard to LOGIC that and PHILOSOPHY were my two most favoritest ever classes. Sadly I never took a class in physics. Only the obligatory biology required in high school. Little did I know how fascinating physics would be for me....that is to say what I can understand of it. Quantum Physics specifically for the vast fuzziness of it..the mystery..the suspense! What else is out there? When we will learn more? Will we ever learn enough to know what we NEED to know to truly understand how the universe works including the folding in of gravity smoothly and effortlessly? Ya know what they say DB. Too soon old too late SCHMART! I did enjoy being an internal auditor but quantum physics would have really been my cuppa tea. One thing though. I'm pretty sure you hafta be a genius to be one and that I am not. Thank you for your reply. I think I'm gonna ask about what you said.  Here's a question I shall ask. "Is presumption an advanced form of thinking requiring a certain sophistication or is it very elementary and simple?"
