A very delicate matter since most people do not care about truth - meaning what is - for its own sake but simply wish to use it for their own purposes. So if you are telling someone something they don't want to hear they will reject you. Others you know will only use it to accuse, judge, discredit, or even destroy you so instead of playing into their hands you naturally opt for self-preservation. So if we are going to tell the truth we must learn to tread lightly.
