If you choose a GURU do you have to believe everything he do? Can you have two at a time and if so which do you cling to if they disagree?

Ayn Rand was a GURU (greed is good). L. Ron Hubbard was a GURU(if scifi fantasy turns you on).  Gandhi too(peaceful resistance).Martin Luther King, Jr. (we shall overcome).  I guess Jesus is a GURU too(what you do to the least of mine you do to me). So is the current Oval office inhabitant apparently( believeth in me as I am the source of all truth). Which GURU is full of voodoo hoodo woowoo coocoo googoo poopoo suesue and which GURU isn't? Do YOU have a guru? Whowho?

In its simplest Sanskrit form a guru is a teacher or master, someone knowledgeable.  Yes as Indian spiritual teachers many gurus are revered as well by their students as they are seen as sort of a personal embodiment of the spiritual values they teach.  So if you follow a particular one doubtful you would have more than one. Of course we can learn from any number I guess if we want.  In the larger spiritual supermarket I have seen people attend to and try to get close to any number of gurus on their tours, even to the point of hugging them during a whale watch excursion. No never had a personal guru but I think we can learn from many people whether we think of them as "gurus" or not.
