He doesn't need to prove anything. All he has to do is make insinuations, shrug his shoulders, and his sychophantic followers will fill in the blanks with their favourite conspiracy theories. That's good enough for him; as long as he has at least a few people to stroke his ego, that becomes "truth" for him.
