It is the MOST coveted "spice" in America.  Or was, rather.
Many knew but didn't or weren't allowed to tell.  ... They didn't know the wonders this 'spice' will do for you.
It will help your mental stresses, help high-blood pressure, Parkinsons, and arthritis.
Many medical practices have not been allowed to know this because it will hurt the pharmacies and man-made products.
Please don't get me wrong.  I have grown up with Western Medicine being extremely prominent in my family.  We've got doctors and nurses everywhere.
I just think "pot" is the answer to helping many ailments we have today instead of paying large amounts of money for man-made copy-cats. This post was edited by Merlin at October 27, 2018 6:25 PM MDT

  • Herbert's "Dune" is an very enjoyable read and one of my favorite novels .  David Lynch's film adaption was groundbreaking and very good as well, though it did have issues and is inferior to the book.

I always thought that the spice "melange" was actually a metaphor for cocaine This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at October 27, 2018 6:25 PM MDT

  • Hey Jon! Dune, in 1978, was an ocean cruise liner in the Bahamas vacation novel an I enjoyed it very, very much! Prince Leto, House Of Atreides, Arrakas the death planet, gom jabbar, Paul...sandworms...I have got very peripatetic with alcohol though but now I am getting better from it, I do plan to start right now and finish that originally burger and beer joyride in the sun continuance but this time without the beer but maybe weed. Drugs are arbitrary and I can live without them. I think:) All the series! This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at October 27, 2018 8:02 PM MDT

  • I thorough heartedly agree with everything you say Merlin! I love weed! I'm 58 and my first solo joint was 11 and a couple of years later, family members started taking over my fathers sunporch with a pretty big plantation! And, I have a big full green shiny weed tattoo stamped on my right arm. Also, I have societally
deemed anxiety and work with people who have no less of drive to obtain it. It really helps me. Good greenery! BTW, Sativa is the stuff it should have most of and not so much Indica. The sleepy stuff:) Chow! This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at October 27, 2018 6:25 PM MDT

Yo CW, I also am 58 and partook for the first time as a high school sophomore in 1976. It was during lunchtime across the street from the very famous and prestigious school I attended in Manhattan, and I've never forgotten how I felt in Biology class the next period! I was in "Taxi Driver" as a 15-year-old! One of the scenes was filmed near my house, and I stopped to watch. I was standing in the background for a good minute as DeNiro chatted with a Secret Service agent.
