Being American means that fellow citizens have a lawful right to shout at the top of their lungs that which you have the same right to oppose at the top of yours.

I am proud to have served and live in a country whose laws (still) permit us to air our views and grievances, and to assemble and demonstrate peaceably without fear of prosecution. I will never support Nazis, I deplore their message, but their rights to speak are the same as mine.

It is a fitting tribute to the guy who whacked  11 Jews in their house of worship. Nazis are alive and well and thriving in this country and growing stronger courtesy of the encouragement of the dippidy doo currently wielding a stranglehold on our country. You spend most of your reply on the right of anyone to say anything at anytime and a cursory "deplore their message" at the tag end. Your choice DB to emphasis what is most important to thee. I had my say. You had yours. Thank you for your reply.

Just as you have the same right to spout/post whatever hyperbole you think serves your cause, regardless of it’s logic, bias or bad grammar.
I’m sorry, but I can’t help your continuing to misunderstand my replies, except to expect more of it in the future, and continue on undaunted. Your understanding is not the point, Rosie, nor a point worth pursuing; either you do or you don’t.
    Life goes on.

There was no mention made here of the vile Synagogue murderer, but feel free to twist the narrative to make you feel you’re right. It’s what you do.

BTW, Adolf Hitler is still long dead, and Robert Bowers is not known to be a member of a Nazi organization. These are relevant facts.

Now I have had my say. Thank you for your question.  This post was edited by Don Barzini at October 30, 2018 8:01 PM MDT

The loon who murdered the Jews hated Trump AND the Jews.  He hated Trump because of his support for Israel.

You want a national figure who hates the Jews?  Try Louis Farrakhan.

And yes, I'll support people's right to say nearly anything.  That's the point of the 1st Amendment.  GOVERNMENT can't stop people from saying vile, bigoted things.

    You know what is sad?

In the old days, when something like this happened, we talked about it for a decade.

Not today.  We cannot keep track.  That is like old news now.

I mean we have had so many shootings and atrocities committed, kids in cages, schools have kids murdered and the kids get accused of faking the deaths, I mean what gets more insane than this?

The Nazi stuff is tame in comparison.  Adolf Hitler would be shaking in his booties if he had to deal with a Donald Trump.  He would embarrass Hitler to death.

We have a mess on our hands Sharon. Those who support and cheer on the Nazis are increasing in number. Just as bad in my opinion are those who defend the right of anyone to say anything at any time for any reason or no reason. They are the sympathizers of the rights of all to be as deplorable and despicable as they wish. I think such defense strengthens the will of the Nazis and racists and bigots. It means they will not be stopped in their effort to spread their evil and hate by those who will just stand by doing nothing except reiterating the right to say what you want in this great country. If what you want to say foments violence so what? It is more than little depressing. There was a time when such hate and fomenting of violence was rebuked and attacked. Now what we hear is "there are good people on both sides" or everyone has right to speak up and march and protest. Even if it is the work of the devil and evil. What do you do with people like that for god's sakes? They are growing more in number. As longer as they are doing well financially it's no skin off their noses how others treated. More's the pity. Thank you for your reply!  :)
