Once upon a time in an election the headlines were "DEWEY WINS". He didn't. Egg-on-face bigly. What headline might we see eclipsing that?

I guess no one is required to apologize for guessing wrong. So the paper blew it and lives in infamy for having counted chickens before they hatched. How could they have gotten it so very wrong?

    Polls. Or perhaps they were hoping if they were going to print that it would discourage others from voting differently.  Certainly in 2016 no one really expected Clinton would be defeated.
