Any close calls as a kid? Are you amazed you survived your childhood? Did you live life on the edge...literally?

My adolescence (which probably lasted 10 years). I got involved with a lot of dangerous drugs that could have killed me.  Thank God I had something of a sense of proportion I knew when not to over-indulge.  And that I discovered other ways to feel good.

Nope.   I was a very cautious kid.  My brother was the daredevil, and although he tried hard to get me to do many dangerous things, I never did.

Good for you! You were independent. My younger sis was/is the adventurous one. Not so much a daredevil. She left home at 17, got a job and shared an apartment with a friend! I left home at 20.Why? Well I got married and I think my husband would not have approved of my living elsewhere!  Nice to see ya Shuhak. Been awhile. You OK? Thank you for your reply and Happy Thursday! :)

I've been diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome in both my wrists as well as arthritis in my hands and fingers.  Very painful!  I've been cutting back on my computer usage so they can heal.

So sorry to learn that you are in pain m'dear. I miss chatting with you daily but of course you have to do what's best for you. Cashiers get carpal tunnel syndrome and I see them wearing wrist braces. They have operations for it but I'm not sure how painful that is or how effective it is. Take care Shuhak. Thank you for your response and Happy Friday. I will be sending good thoughts your way. Don't know if it will help but what could it hurt?
