If you're a gun person do you always shoot to kill or do you sometimes shoot to wound or frighten? Why?

You have a loaded weapon. Folks throw rocks at you and hit you. Do you kill them, wound them, maim them, scare them? Because?

    Here is what they will all say.

    They shoot to protect.  SO, of course, that means KILL just in case.
