Does ANYONE know what happened to MEL and the Church of Gibson?

Those names are not familiar to me.  I just clicked on your question out of curiosity. 

I have a friend who was living  in Huoma (sp?), and there was a Gibson church there. Perhaps it's still there.  That is the only Gibson Church I am even remotely familiar with.   It is/was a little, teeny, cute church.   I just Googled - it's actually in Tigerville, LA, not Huoma.
