She took them to court and said the upgrade made her computer slower and unreliable. She sued them for lost wages and a new computer and WON $10,000! Whaddya think of that? They did the same dam* thing to me and I PAID our computer repair guy $75 to dump 10 and re-install 7! I never thought of suing them. Good for her because she did sue and did win :)
Maybe this will lead to a class action suit.
I added code to prevent W7 from updating and use GWX Control Panel to stop the update from loading.
