What is your view of the appearance of Waardenburg syndrome.

My face includes these features.    WS is considered by MDs and DOs as a facial disorder.    I've read many different remarks on this syndrome    Some complimentary and some not so much

    Atually your profile pic remind me of a Jerome K Jerome story (written about himself) where he reads a book on medicine and convinces himself that he has every ailment described in the book except hoof and mouth disease. In ends with his Doctor ordering him to drink a glass of port at dinner, and stop reading medical books.

    You look perfectly fine, and if the worry persist, I suggest you see a practicing MD. He is qualified to make such diagnoses and we are not.

    What can it say? I just know a lot (but not enough to diagnose Waardenburg syndrome ).

  • I would not be sure I would notice if anyone showed symptoms of this disorder.  As all people have varying differences in facial features. They would have to be extreme for me to notice. If this was a worry to me I would seek out a specialist for diagnosis.
