I never "pig out" at Thanksgiving or Christmas. Could it be because I have manners? Could it be that I don't like eating (hereditary condition)? Or could it be because my sister must cook "ultra-super-healthily" foods (no “junk food” allowed).
If people want to go on a diet, simply have my sister cook meals for them. They’ll shed pounds faster than pouring organic avocado oil through an organic bamboo funnel. Ever had a diner roll made entirely from healthy ingredients? (Organic, unprocessed whole wheat, buckwheat, rye and any other king of ultra healthy flours – combined; organic free-range eggs, almond milk and organic avocado oil. They’re more like hockey pucks than dinner rolls. Don’t forget the kale, green bean, tomato, blueberry, smoothie…with just a drop of organic honey (from her own beehives) added for sweetness. Gag! Any meat she serves MUST be cooked thoroughly (until it’s dry and as hard as a diamond).
So if I want to eat on holidays, I must bring my favorite dish – homemade macaroni salad (made with full-fat miracle whip and mayonnaise (no Greek yogurt), pickles cured in real sugar (no Stevia, no coconut sugar, no agave, no yogurt), and not one single “organic” ingredient!). Is it any surprise that my dish is extremely popular at family gatherings? (I only make it 4-5 times a year so it won’t kill me.)
No, I never pig out at Thanksgiving or Christmas. My stomach just can’t take it.
(That’s all right, sis, one glass of 100% natural, plain, organic, bottle-fed, free-range, non-GMO, whole-grain, skinless, water is enough for me.)
