When do you eat more/pig out? Thanksgiving or Christmas? Or are you ALWAYS MINDFUL of your diet and never regret what you ett?

I never "pig out" at Thanksgiving or Christmas.   Could it be because I have manners?   Could it be that I don't like eating (hereditary condition)?  Or could it be because my sister must cook "ultra-super-healthily" foods (no “junk food” allowed).

If people want to go on a diet, simply have my sister cook meals for them.  They’ll shed pounds faster than pouring organic avocado oil through an organic bamboo funnel.    Ever had a diner roll made entirely from healthy ingredients?  (Organic, unprocessed whole wheat, buckwheat, rye and any other king of ultra healthy flours – combined; organic free-range eggs, almond milk and organic avocado oil.  They’re more like hockey pucks than dinner rolls.  Don’t forget the kale, green bean, tomato, blueberry, smoothie…with just a drop of organic honey (from her own beehives) added for sweetness.  Gag!  Any meat she serves MUST be cooked thoroughly (until it’s dry and as hard as a diamond).

So if I want to eat on holidays, I must bring my favorite dish – homemade macaroni salad (made with full-fat miracle whip and mayonnaise (no Greek yogurt), pickles cured in real sugar (no Stevia, no coconut sugar, no agave, no yogurt), and not one single “organic” ingredient!).   Is it any surprise that my dish is extremely popular at family gatherings?  (I only make it 4-5 times a year so it won’t kill me.)

No, I never pig out at Thanksgiving or Christmas.  My stomach just can’t take it.

(That’s all right, sis, one glass of 100% natural, plain, organic, bottle-fed, free-range, non-GMO, whole-grain, skinless, water is enough for me.)

You are a HOOT m'dear! A riot! A funny hilarious blessing! So if you ever come here please don't look in my cupboards or fridges (I have 3 and they are always full). The only sweetener I use now is coconut sugar. I have organic everything up the keester and down again. I buy ONLY grass fed organic beef. All other grades when tested were found to have traces of feces in them. Any other meat we eat is "organic". We eat "natural" uncured bacon on occasion and uncured lunchmeat. We don't eat Velveeta or any other processed cheeses. Only the real thing. We don't eat "Cool Whip". We don't eat anything with food dyes that have numbers attached to them. Beets and carrots can be used for color and why they aren't I haven't a clue. The healthier foods do use them and I always look for that. Did you know they put Red Dye #40 in some brands of black licorice? I am not kidding! If I use flour it is Stone Ground Organic wheat.   We haven't eaten "farm-raised" fish for decades. Read that they are fed ground up bottom fish known to have higher levels of mercury. We buy "wild-caught" light tuna in pouches only available at Walmart, store brand. We haven't purchased or eaten ANYTHING  with hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oils for 30 years or more. I don't do margarine. We use butter. We don't do non-fat or low fat because that's where flavor is and when they remove the fat they replace it with SUGAR! Full-fat is satisfying so you eat less or drink less of it. The non-fat low-fat is never satisfying so you keep eating some of  this and that and the other thing all the while getting fatter and never being sated. We read ALL LABELS every time because manufacturers are tricksters and they will change things..usually for the worse not better because it's cheaper for them. Red potatoes have lower starch. If you can find purple potatoes they have the least starch which is better if you are pre-diabetic as we are. We haven't had a Russet potato in decades. The only pasta we eat is made by DREAMFIELD'S. It contains INULIN which blocks the damaging effects of carbohydrates. We are both slender and healthy. We eat mostly veggies and beans and whole grains and nuts and seeds. Our bread is high-fiber high-protein organic. We are not PERFECT but our diet  is dam* near perfect! I am known as being a very good cook. My son Gary once said I could make a stone taste tender and tasty and delicious! Between thee and me I don't think I could but it was very sweet of him to say so. Healthy food when well-prepared can be delicious. I don't care how healthy something is if it isn't DELICIOUS we don't eat it. My confession to you. Politicians talk about fake news as being a scourge. The real scourge is fake food and fake "experts" who play us like yo-yos!  I'm gonna ask a question about fake food. Thank you for your reply Shuhak and Happy Friday to thy! :)
