Does a prez ALWAYS need Congress to declare war or can he do it unilaterally? If the john of don ORDERS war against X who will stop it?

The current  Congress and Senate are impotent inept toady sycophants scared of their own shadows. Who among them would DARE to disobey the wackadoodle john of don who is after all in charge? He has a narrowing window of opportunity to destroy the world. It will be his legacy. Because if we survive until January 3, 2019 when the House gets back to doing its job of check-and-balance his days will be numbered and he knows it. He will not go gently into that dark night. He will leave behind whatever he can destroy to get back at us for our daring to go against his will. His will be done? I dunno.

Well, now that they are on the brink of disaster, I don't think that Donnie is going to get the LOVE he thought would carry him through anything his infantile mind concocts for his own deflection.

I don't know how that works, to tell you the truth.  He has broken every rule imaginable that would have caused any other president to be impeached out of hand, so who REALLY knows?  Isn't that exactly why he put those puppets into places of power?  To do his bidding?  Isn't that why he fired Comey?  Isn't that why he is not going to be in office in 2020?

He has less than two months to pull a shenanigan like that.  After January, he will be taken to task for all this damage he is trying to cause us.

I would be so proud to look at this and not want to throw up. This post was edited by WM BARR . =ABSOLUTE TRASH at November 24, 2018 4:51 AM MST

I hear you m'dear. Indeed I agree 100% with thee. The john of don has made a mockery of the United States of America that used to be. Will we ever get it back? Not intact for sure. I think he will go to any length to get the spotlight off him and his family which if focused on him 24/7 due to the corruption treason and criminality that envelopes all of them. In desperation I believe he will start a war. What better way to refocus attention away from him than to rile up an enemy and be engaged in another war? He is an abomination that is adored by 40% (allegedly) of voting citizens. At first I was appalled and thought it ws a lie. But no.  Further 90% of Republicans believe he is doing a good job. To comment on that is useless so I won't. You love whom you love and that's that. The clock is ticking. At least I hope it's a clock and not a bomb named john of don ready to blow with the press of a red button! He is lower than a snake's belly already. See john run. Unless he trips and slips and falls we may be in for the worst of times. Thank you for your reply Sharon. :)

I don't think he can but he can do things  that could cause a country to declare war on the US. Cheers and happy weekend!

I wonder what would happen if we declined the invitation to a war Nanoose? Is there some unwritten obligation that forces us to join in? Can't we just no because we are busy and have no time to attend? I'm gonna ask. Thank you for your reply and Happy Saturday m'dear!  :)
