  • No I don't count them.  I don't think there's a limit on how many questions you can ask on here.  It's a Q&A site so it is "the more the merrier"!

  • I don't track or count the numbr of members questions, but..as a moderator, I'm aware of what is posted and the frequency because I peruse all of them daily when I can.

    Hello Rosie:

I only count the questions of the people I DON'T like..  If they go over my limit, I TELL 'em about it..  I SNIVEL about it.  I POST about it.  The world is better off because I DO that..

Hi Rosie, do people really spend their time doing that?  What a waste of a human life.  ;)

Hi honey.  Here's why I asked the question. An Answermugger said he had been gone awhile and came back to find I had "hijacked" political questions. That I had asked 18 questions in one hour! So of course I asked a question about it . I didn't know I had a quota.  Anyway I use everything as fodder for questions. I don't know if that guy recognized himself in this question. But there ya have it! Thank you for your reply PC And Happy Tuesday to thee!  :)

No Ele. It was a slam at me. Yesterday an Answermugger said he had been gone awhile and when he came back he said I had "hijacked" political questions and asked 18 in 1 hour! I didn't know there was a quota or limit. So of course I asked  a question about it. I guess some folks can't ask question so they track what other people do. Seems kinda boring to me but different strokes. Thank you for your reply and Happy Tuesday! :)

You're a mod GJ? I did not know that. I find that very comforting. Well here's the why of this question.  Yesterday an Answermugger said he had been gone awhile and came back to find that I had "hijacked" political questions because I had asked 18 in 1 hour! I didn't know that but so what? So of course as I always do I used that as  fodder for this question.  I use everything/anything I encounter. Thank you for your reply and the info. I thought it was only JA and m2c who were watching out for impropriety on the site. I'm happy to learn that you are doing so too! Thank you for your reply and Happy Tuesday! :)

Hi sweetie. Here's the why of this question. Yesterday an Answermugger said that he had been gone awhile and came back to find I had "hijacked" political questions and asked 18 of them in 1 hour.  Imagine that. "So what?" I sez to meself I sez. Then I usedthat encountert for a question. I do that a lot. I have never tracked people's questions. At Answerbag I'd go to my friend questions and answer them. The setup for doing that was a lot easier at Answerbag. But I never counted how many they asked or how many I answered. I do not get the point of it frankly. Of course that was a slam  from the Answermug guy because he is "a usual suspect". I had forgotten he was among those alerts I automatically delete without reading. I shall so do  henceforth! Thank you for your reply excon and Happy Tuesday! :)

Ditto Sharonna. Yesterday an Answermug male said he was gone from the site awhile and came back to see that I had "hijacked" political questions and asked 18 in 1 hour! So naturally I used that experience to ask THIS question. Thank you for your reply! :)

Hahahahahahahsahah! How cute are you cb ? Very cute. I was at Answerbag from February 2005 till it closed down December 2015. I asked thousands and thousands of questions there over the years. I've been here since December 2015 and asked tons of questions. I have no idea how many nor do I care. I think it's pointless. Thank you for your  reply and Happy Tuesday!  :)

I agree Rosie.. its pointless to count and for people like me who don't ask questions.. I'm really glad when people post a lot of questions.. it gives me something to answer. Yay  :)

  • Yep...and proud of it.

There are 5 of us including JA. I'm not sure how many people know that.  New members proabably do when the first join when they check out the News & Help section (or they should anyways) .  Existing members tend not to go back and look thus missing important updates.

Hey RosieG, I'm so glad you don't crack under pressure.  ;))   Hijacking the questions?  Is that a misdemeanor or a felony offense?  I think your punishment should be to exceed 18 questions in one hour for an all time high record.  Holy crap,  I can't produce more than 3 or 4 every few days.   I'm curious about one thing though.  Are those that complain the loudest, the ones that don't know enough about politics to even answer your questions?  Just a thought.  Feel free to use that as a question if you like. It's up for grabs.  )))  I dunno, maybe you should shock them some day and ask a mindless question like, "What do you think" or "I don't know why, do you", or maybe, "How hot is it"?  I think if I ever saw you ask a mindless question, I'd fall out of my chair.  I'm so glad that isn't your style.  I hope you had a wonderful day Rosie!!

PS - I only wish I knew enough about politics to be able to participate in that line of questioning.

Here's something you'll find amusing m'dear. When I was  on Answerbag some folks used to ask fill-in-the-blank questions. Some hated them, some loved them. I was indifferent. I didn't mind them. They didn't annoy  me at. I rarely answered them though. But one day just for the halibut I thought I'd try something out. This was the question I asked. " _____   _______  _______  _______   _______ _______"  It was just  a series of blanks. I didn't even use one word. I thought for sure the question would be pulled. It wasn't. I could not believe it! Now I don't remember if anyone ever answered but it was clearly a do-it-yourself question. I think maybe of all the thousands of questions I ever asked that was the one that tickled me the most!. The one I like best was "What if God were gay?"  I was surprised and thrilled to find that I did not get one slam or attack response. I got some that were really beautiful in fact. They were for the most  part very thoughtful. Some made a joke of it but they were not mean-spirited jokes. I was very pleased. In fact my favorite response was "that would explain rainbows"! Now isn't that an awesome answer? It's funny what you remember...what sticks out.  About the politics thingy. There has never such a one as Donald Trump. He is such a threat to our way of life. Also after 9/11 I became a news junkie. So the me of today on an internet social site is not the me I was   before 9/11 . Thank you for your thoughtful answer and Happy Friday to thee PC! :) Oh why don't YOU ask your question? It is a very good one ! ((hugs))
