I wonder what the troops thought about the politics of the john of don ostensibly calling them to wish them Happy Thanksgiving?

Once again the john of dn made it all about him and spent much of the time partisan politicking/bit**ng. Is that appropriate, seemly and purposeful? They are sitting ducks. They can't escape. The john of don can't even give them a break on a holiday?  Sheesh.
