Sometimes when you settle/compromise you are much better off than you would have been otherwise. Do you embrace/despise being better off?

I suppose it depends on what you compromise or are willing to compromise. To compromise is to make concessions or accommodations for someone who does not agree with a prevalent set of standards or rules. For instance and speaking only for myself now. The Bible makes it clear that God does not condone compromising His standards. His people do not compromise with evil, and they walk only in His paths. I will not compromise GOD's standard nor will I compromise His Word. I am much better off for not compromising these things and I embrace that. :)
