I'm wondering if the losses reduce the production output ... or if robotics are taking over most of those jobs ... or if they are opening plants overseas, where they can compete without the higher tariffs on steel/aluminum.

I dunno Walt but the prez is PI**SED. As usual he takes it as a slight to him since tons of time ago he PROMISED to bring auto jobs back, steel jobs back and cavemine jobs back! Welcome to 1948 ! Thank you for your reply!  :)

Perhaps the big orange will demand they produce buggy whips---gotta admit that would bring back manufacturing jobs.

Screw GM and all its owners (shareholders), right?

Off the mark as usual. What he actually did was threaten to cut federal subsidies to GM. You were really close.

Do you know how prices and markets work? It has nothing to do with Trump. The price rose due to an expected increase in profitability. It's very unfortunate that those jobs will be lost, but you can't pin this on your favorite punching bag.
