I always choose alone time, because I am an introvert. However, I do have friends that I get together with for lunch, and I do have a large family, so gatherings can be quite big as well. In those cases, once I get home, it's "recharge" time. I don't enjoy crowds nor being any kind of center of attention for any reason, so I limit my exposure.
Me too lavender. That's why an internet social site works so well for me. I answer to no one. I don't need permission to be there or to leave. Everything is always at my convenience. What I ask. How long I stay. With whom I engage. I get claustrophobic in crowds. Not my cuppa tea. In the olden days when we went to movies I always sat on an aisle seat toward the back near the exit. There is NO WAY I'd travel across the knees of people so I could get smack dab in the middle! Talk about feeling cornered and trapped that would be it! Thank you for your thoughtful reply and Happy Wednesday to you m'dear! :)
It depends on which people! I never turn down a chance to see people I like to be with:) I don't mind being alone and more times than not I am alone. So I feel I need more interaction with people and often just go shopping in order to see a friendly face!
