After watching episodes of Leah Remini's SCIENTOLOGY EXPOSE I wonder if L. Ron Hubbard and Donald John Trump are related?

The degree of SCAM CON RIDICULOUS in both "philosophies" is astonishing. That people could be duped for decades as they were with Scientology (many still are caught in that snake pit) and not realize they were being taken for a ride and made fools of is unbelievable. I see that same template of rigid immutable devotion in the trumpicans. .

Elron was a decent sf writer in his day, trouble is he went mad and started believing it.

His Royal Orangeness has never been good at anything. This post was edited by Slartibartfast at January 10, 2019 2:26 AM MST

Never read any of his stuff R. I did see the ads for a gawd-awful film starring one of his most famous adherents made and it turned out to be a colossal embarrassing bomb! John Travolta starred in it. I don't know if anyone actually sat through the entire movie. So I take your word for it. The intricacies and horror  stories of how Scientology works and what the members are put through AND ACCEPT for decades is unbelievable. It makes me think that most human beings do not have the ability to comprehend or understand much of anything. If a fraud like L. Ron can so easily con so many for so long into becoming his to do with as he wishes that is kind frightening. There is something beyond IQ that's at play. I'm not sure what and I'm gonna ask. Maybe some knows. Thank you for your reply and Happy Thursday. Different subject. John Isner was beaten by an Aussie.  I think his name is Millman? I think he is 21. Am I wrong about that? Jim was watching the Aussie Open TUNEUPS I think is Brisbane. Anyway is he someone you think can go the distance? Isner is a pretty good tennis player? :)

Isner is getting a little long in the tooth, and only excels in LOOOONG matches. 70-68 in the fifth is a record that I doubt will ever be broken.
