JWhich love is most powerful abiding durable endless?

Romantic love, platonic love, parental love, self-love
Love of country
Love of principles
Love of mankind

I am purposely excluding love of GOD here because that has to do with religious beliefs  and I know the devout would always put that first. Hence the exclusion.

    Self love is always at the top of the tree, regardless of how deeply you may believe otherwise. Without that, you have no desire to go on living.
    Parental love is next. Even animals do that.
    The others vary, but all are developed from the first.

    Sweetie apologies to thee but I don't accept that from you. I think your love for Maureen exclipses any love you feel for yourself. I do. Sorry but I calls 'em as I sees 'em. No I am NOT calling you a liar. I'm just saying that what you say is quite likely true for most regular folks. But you are an exception and I know there are  other exceptions out there. Of course being a parent I won't say you love your wife more than your kids. I think parental love is above and beyond and forever strong. Ok. Smack me down. Go ahead. I'm sitting down!  I won't fall far to the floor! Thank you for your reply R! :)
