Here's an idea. Why not have a law that makes it MANDATORY for smokers to smoke in their cars with windows shut 24/7 or in their homes?

They'd have to keep the doors and windows shut 24/7 in their homes too so they could keep all that wonderful crapped up air all to themselves. Make it ILLEGAL to smoke anywhere else and fine them $1000 a pop if they break that law. What could it hurt?

  • I would hope that it would also be illegal for them to smoke with their kids in their cars or homes!  My parents smoked when I grew up .. and I hated it!  Sadly, that's never going to happen.

    I clearly remember when I was a kid being in the back seat of the car on a rainy day with windows shut  where several adults (not my mom) were smoking. I HATED it. I couldn't breathe. It stunk but I was trapped. Of course in those days no one knew that smoke carried death with it. Those were the days when you'd see doctors (alleged doctors perhaps) in ads touting specific brands for their TASTE. TASTE? Cigarettes are supposed to "taste good"? I think I'll ask. Thank you for your reply Mrs.C and oh my gosh and golly I wonder what horrors regarding the Putin puppet we shall see today? Oy vey! :(
