How low have we fallen and how much lower do we go before we hit go SPLAT and get smashed and trashed beyond reclamation? Soon?

Day 29 of the Putin puppet hostage situation. Each day things get more and more dire and the petulant Putin puppet soars higher and higher in his own mind. He thinks he is winning something big. What do you think?

  • American society is circling the drain and going down for the count. We are a reflection of our own lack of morals and ethics. The lies, hypocrisy and immorality have landed a fatal blow. As my dad said fifty years ago, this country can't be taken from the outside, but it's capable of crumbling from within. True then and true now.

    "Day 29... " Are you referring to all those unfortunate civil-servants who are not being paid?

    If so:

    It's being reported here in Britain, but I doubt anyone here can really comprehend how it can possibly happen. We know, to a point anyway, it is an argument between politicians about paying for that border wall; and one interviewee in a recent BBC Radio Four news programme, described the row as "childish".

    What is so strange to we foreigners is that such a supposedly-sophisticated, developed, rich, democratic "Western" country that loves to tell the rest of the world how to behave, should allow so many of its own, innocent people to be caught so badly in party-political cross-fire within its own government.

    We can only watch and hope it is resolved soon, for those workers' sakes, and the arrears paid in full.

    Let's get back to that 3-legged stool Durdle. EXECUTIVE LEGISLATIVE JUDICIAL. The Executive, aka the petulant Putin puppet closed the gubment down. Now  the LEGISLATIVE branch can open it up any time it wants. The House and the Senate must prepare and pass a bill to do just that which the petulant Putin puppet will veto and the HOUSE and the SENATE can override by a huge majority. But they refuse to do it. NOW the HOUSE has a Democratic majority and it already  has such a bill. But the SENATE must also vote for it and of course the majority there (though very narrow) is strictly toady sycophant Putin puppet-owned. They will do nothing. So we are stuck you see because of the nature of our 3-legged stool. You might say one leg(LEGISLATIVE) is missing altogether. The JUDICIAL branch is larded with petulant Putin puppet appointees so when push comes to shove the petulant Putin puppet expects it to obey. That INCLUDES the Supreme Court.
