So the President still doesn’t understand the difference between climate and weather. Why?

Calling for “some good old Global Warming“ in the face of the winter storm in the Northeast. Fact is, and he could ask his scientists this: the warming climate is why the polar vortex has descended southward.
What purpose is served by continually espousing obvious ignorance?

  • I guess it's a good thing that he is so incredibly incompetent in every way. If he were just a little bit crazy, people (the non-Trumpeteers of course) might excuse him more easily.  There really are no limits to the effects of his idiocy. It's scary that he's lasted this long in office. I try not to think about it, as the implications truly frighten me. This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at January 21, 2019 7:34 AM MST

What bothers me here is that he’s too incompetent to recognize how incompetent he really is.
If this is America “Great Again”, I’m inclined to hope for the alternative.

Funny. It would be like him to be so out of touch.
Related factoid: Despite Trump’s propaganda about the flourishing coal industry, more coal plants have shut down in his first two years than in Obama’s entire Presidency.

  • He neither reads nor listens to anyone.  Very difficult to know much of anything that way except what's in your own head.

Yet how many times have we heard “Lots of people say”, or “many (many) people have called me...” this or that.

Only inside his personal echo chamber. This post was edited by Don Barzini at January 21, 2019 7:35 AM MST

Trump is one of those folks who must adhere to the adage - Ignorance is Bliss.  He doesn't want to learn about anything.  The few facts he has in his head are the only ones he knows or wants to know.  He doesn't care.
