.
Had to look up what the term meant,
and found too many meanings and references to make sense of.
There was an acquaintance in a circle of people I once knew.
His name was Peter Love.
He had gold skin, amber-hazel eyes and dark gold hair.
He was built like Nureyev.
I never dared speak to him.
Women used to flock around him and I'm certain it must have been a hassle to deal with them.
He was popular, kind, intelligent, loved board surfing, and was a social worker.
No idea what happened to him as I drifted out of that circle.
Anyone who's been through an American high school knows at least one 'golden boy' or girl. Most of the time they're asshats--but sometimes you'll run across one who's a stand-up human being.
He's now a garage mechanic in Hoboken, NJ., has a huge beer gut, four kids and a wife with two teeth missing. :-)
LOL! :D
My guess is he's fathered a forest of offspring, still single, still surfing waves, and still rescuing the needy in his social work, but probably slowing down to snail's pace.
But you could easily be right. :)
When I was in Boy Scouts, "golden boy" was any kid who owned a complete uniform, hat, shirt, short pants and long pants.
He would definitely be a Golden Boy. I take it

to mean a perfect guy. One much like you described. Thank you for your answer hartfire! :)
