Several of the more familiar parts of it seem very topical today...to whit
"Day after day, Day after day, We stuck nor breath nor motion
As idle as a painted ship upon a painted ocean"
"Water water everywhere and all the board did shrink
Water water everywhere nor any drop to drink"
"Ah well a day what evil looks Had I from old and young
Instead of the cross the albatross about my neck was hung"
Any parallels to today? I think the WALL is the albatross ..gubment is the painted ship upon a painted ocean and sea water which is undrinkable is what the boss offers in exchange for his wall.
A stretch you say? Or spot on? I leave that up to you to determine.
