Reporters will have their own axes to grind. Just as I have my own. So let them grind theirs and let me grind mine. I choose to spend my time and attention and effort on what I deem to be important. I do not consider the comings and goings and utterances and quirks of politicians to be of any interest to me.
Even when your best interests are stake? You are not interested in that? Why? What about how they affect those you love? You care not then as well? Why is that? Thank you for your reply og and Happy Wednesday to thee.
Burying ones head in the sand won't make things any better or make them go away. Fact - reporters are more interested in showmanship and sensationalism than simply reporting the news. The rise of "commentaries" on news shows testifies to this. News not "spicy" enough? Simply add your "two-cents" and make it sound like fact. Or ad-lib (it wasn't just a gun but a "smoking" gun). The sad thing is that people eat this stuff up as if it were candy. "Reportes" spin their tails so cleverly that it sounds almost exactly like truth.
Where do you go when you want information that can be proven? What source(s) do you trust to provide you with WHAT IS? Do you regularly watch any news shows Shuhak? Are you aware of the reputation of FOX NEWS as being an arm of the puppet boy gubment? Is CNN and MSNBC and CBS all full of lies and distortions so you don't watch or listen to any of it? How do you form your opinions since you cannot do it in a vacuum. You seem knowledgeable about many things. How can you know about them unless you learn about them? Where do you learn about what's going on enough to discuss it? I disagree with your assessment of reporters/journalists. Op Ed folks are different. But real reporters like Daniel Ellsberg dig and dig and dig until they get to the TRUTH and then expose it. Different strokes m'dear. Thank you for your reply.
Almost everyone watched s the news - even me. However, I am leery when it comes to cometenaries. Many of the commentators put their own "spin" on the news. If they didnt who would watch them? News networks are there to make money (just like any other TV network). While most of the "basic" news is probably fairly accurate. It's when the "spin" gets put on it that problems arise. When many of these commentators get "famous", they also get fat heads. So they "spice up" the news to make sure their followers still follow. Some even turn into 'Rush Limbaugh' type characters (spewing more crap than an outhouse atop a geyser). Just my opinion.
