How we love and how we expect to be loved is very different I guess. Never been clingy/jealous/desperate to be with someone. You?

For me loving is a positive thing. It doesn't require any suffering. In fact if I have to suffer I can't see how love has anything to do with it. Maybe obsession but not love. Have you ever suffered for love? Why?

I have always been happiest, felt best about myself, most secure, in an ongoing relationship. Which by far the greater part of my life I have been in.  Not clingy.  Jealous sometimes but I think I have learned to handle that quite well.  If I am having a great time with someone that is love to me.  If you are not it seems to me why are you together?   "Love" is to me no excuse.  Things will not always be just the way you want them to be and there will be some strife of course but if its mostly great times I think we are doing well!
