I’ve never lived in TO, but I have traveled and stayed there for extended periods often. I always stay downtown and always feel safe walking around there day or night, even alone. I’m sure there’s some seedy areas, but I’ve never been to them so dunno. I honestly feel safer walking there at night, cos streets are highly populated, than I would walking down my deserted road. I could get attacked by a crazy deer or fisher here. Those fishers are vicious.
