    I think it's hilarious that people actually believe that.
    It's the most blatant case of confirmation bias.

    They count 3 bad things ... then, when a 4th happens; they start counting at 1 again, and look for 2 more.

  • Trouble in life can only be counted by 3. Pretty sure this is science. If it's not I make it science by purposefully creating problems just so that they will stay divisible by 3.
