My dad passed away one afternoon in January 1960 during his nap before work(night shift hours). His reward for being a GOOD MAN?.

He had a slight smile on his face as if he were enjoying something. I always thought that was his reward. No lengthy illness. No long-term suffering. No pain. What better way is there than that I wonder?

I think most of us hope that we will leave this earth quietly in our sleep with no pain and no protracted illnesses.  I don't think of it as a reward for being good.  Rather, it is just our time to go.
