The only thing I can think of is a coin trade I made. I traded a 1928 Peace Silver Dollar for four American Large cents from the 1840s. I did think of another example. Any purchase under a dollar from a store that won't accept checks or credit/debit cards. This post was edited by Element 99 at February 8, 2019 10:11 AM MST

Paper  currency can be used in either of your examples, correct?

    Old arcade games
    Old vending machines.
    Pool table in a bar.
Laundry Mat machines. (New ones may take bills now but not any I have seen)

Everything I can think of are purchases you make from a machine.

Numerous vending machines have accepted bills for over a decade now.
