    I don't understand.  Where is that written?

    Doing stuff with my sole mission to benefit me?  All that benefits is my ego being stroked.  There is no real joy in that for me or anyone.

    Here's an example. Isn't being truthful beneficial to you? How would that be at someone else's expense? How about being a caring person rather than selfish cold cruel like say the gaslighter-in-chief? Thank you for your reply. If you really do what is best for you then it will not harm others. Just my opinion. I don't think being selfish benefits the selfish person at all and it surely doesn't benefit others. That is a lose-lose.
