A good Jewish Deli too. I'm hankering for matzo ball soup and when I made it at home the matzo balls are LEADEN! AARRGGHH. OY VEY! The pizza looks delish! Thank you for your reply and the nifty photo Sharon! :)
I'm not sure who invented or where this food was invented but I have to say, my all-time favorite food is a good old fashioned homemade fry it in a pan hamburg. Pizza running a close second on my all-time favorite food list. :)
Orange Chicken I have been told I have some Oriental in my ancestry because of my maiden name etc but if true it is too far back to claim. My paternal Grandfather (his last name) was considered full blooded Swedish.

My husband is Polish and Hungarian, and my MIL fixed a lot of those dishes. Many of which I cannot spell. I love them, and miss her cooking so much. I have her recipes, but it's much different when someone who IS Polish cooks a traditional Polish dish.
My uncle was Portuguese, so Vingha Dosh (Sp), and some other dishes are favorites.
My cousin's father is Cuban, and I love Ropa Viejo.
