How can America be the richest country when we are awash in trillions of dollars worth of DEBT?

Didn't gasbag tell us he'd REDUCE the debt. How does INCREASING it do what he promised?

They all increase it. None seem to really care about it at all. It is just a talking point for whichever party is not in power.

THE CONSERVATIVE PARTY used to PRIDE itself on being fiscally CONSERVATIVE m2c. Surely you recall those days don't you? Well your gasbag prez blew that up. Dems NEVER bragged about being fiscally conservative. You guys did. Writing it off as something everyone does? You know that's not true. So why say it? I don't buy it. Do you? Thank you for your reply and Happy Valentine's Day Thursday to thee!   :)

No, they didn't. They talked a good game but I have yet to see a President who cares even a bit about the debt.

I have a theory that the world's debt (each country) will be how they talk many into the global gov. No debt, you cannot owe yourself, right?

Gasbag inherited a $19 TRILLION debt. It is on its way to $20-21 TRILLION. And he has only just begun. The liar gasbag is a real gasbag liar. As for your questions? I do not know the answer to either one. Thank you for your reply Sharon.

We're so rich, we can spend other people's (nations') money without worrying about them coming to collect it.

Calling in America's debt would destroy the global economy.
Taxes would have to be raised so high, that America would stop buying the rest of the world's goods.

I just read yesterday Walt that our national debt is pushing $22 TRILLION! I can't even almost imagine  number that high but I do know THAT IS NOT A GOOD THING! What happened to fiscal responsibility? Wasn't that always key to Conservatism? I'm gonna ask. Thank you for your reply! :)
