Do you prefer being treated like adults rather than being talked down to by 3-letter-word-users because they think that's all you know?

They really believe they're way smarter than you so they use simple words for the simple-minded folks they think you are. Or do you appreciate them for doing that? Which and why?

    Fortunately, I don't come into contact with too many people like that, but when I do, I spend as little time with them as possible.
